Community Service Fair

Do you need to access government services such as applying for a Birth Certificate, photo ID, or an MCP card? Do you have questions about Income Support, the Canadian Dental Care Plan or Disability Benefits? Struggling to access health care, or navigate the health care system? Are you a business owner wondering about wage subsidies? Service Canada, and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador are bringing their services to Fogo Island! This service fair will have representatives from different provincial and federal government departments on site to answer questions and help with applications. No appointment necessary, drop into the Orange Lodge in Joe Batt’s Arm on Thursday April 16, from 10 am – 3 pm. Departments that will be in attendance include: Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development, Department of Social Supports and Well-Being, Motor Registration, Key Assets NL, Public Legal Information Association of NL, NL Health Services, NL Public Library, and 211NL.
