Tree Planting Appreciation Post

The Town of Fogo Island would like to thank the Fogo Island Beaver Scouts, community volunteers, and town staff who worked together this week to plant trees in Fogo Island Central Park and other locations across the Island. This is the third year in a row that the Beaver Scouts have helped by planting trees in the park. These trees will help reduce wind damage in the area and make the park greener for future generations to enjoy. This year, more than 500 trees were donated by the Provincial Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands for planting on Fogo Island. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to this important community project!
